Isak Petersen is a coach, pastor, and creative whose career has taken him from the shop floor to the pulpit to the coaching room. Every step has sharpened the same core skill: Helping people find and grow into who they really are.

Originally from the Faroe Islands, Isak spent his early career in retail buying and merchandising, leading teams across Copenhagen and the Faroese market before moving into product development. That grounding in strategy, people management, and working under pressure would later prove essential. However it was a shift into church leadership that revealed his true calling.

Over more than a decade at LIFE Church and as Director of Ministry & Discipleship at SAINT Church, Isak has built and led large-scale pastoral care systems, trained hundreds of volunteer leaders, and grown discipleship communities several times over. He’s written courses on discipleship, financial freedom, and new beginnings, and has coordinated creative and pastoral programming for conferences with thousands in attendance.

It’s this blend, strategic leadership, deep pastoral insight, and a genuine belief in the value of every individual’s story, that led Isak to found Seventeen Twelve, a coaching and mentorship practice for artists and creatives.

Alongside his consultancy work, Isak is also a published songwriter, bringing firsthand understanding of the creative process to everything he does.
